Three of every ten children in the UK don't have a book of their own. This is the result of a survey made online by the National Literacy Trust of the UK.

More than 18.000 boys and girls in ages between 11 and 13 years old answered the survey, and it was found that 4 out of 10 boys do not have books of their own, so it is a higher number of no books owners among boys than among girls.

A brand new course

Today we will remember M.L.King who was the leader of the Nonviolence movement in the US and was assassinated on the 4th of April of 1968. He defended peaceful ways for Afroamericans to achieve the same Civil Rights as white people and was a leader of a movement inspired for Gandhi and his nonviolence philosophy.
