There are a lot of important aspects of Galician culture: the language, food, places, parties, monuments…
The most important thing of the Galician culture is its language; called galician. Galician language comes from Latin. Most Galician people talk Galician.
Other very important things of Galicia are the places and the monuments.
If you come to Galicia you can see very wonderful places as Sil Canyons, Cathedrals, beaches, Cies Islands, dunes of Corrubedo… And monuments you can see near here, as Hercules Tower, or Santiago’s Cathedral.
Some people come to Galicia to the parties. The most important parties are The party of seafood, the best in the world; The festival of Ortigueira, where young people meet for a few days and there they can listen to folk music in a lot of concerts. Others important parties are San Roque, in Betanzos, where a balloon is launched, the biggest in the world; and San Froilan, in Lugo, where there are concerts and attractions and where a lot of people go.
Galicia has very good food as octopus, pork leg with vegetables, pancakes, Galician caldo (kind of soup)...
Many tourist come to Galicia for its weather. People who live in a hot country come to Galicia looking for cool weather.
In conclusion Galicia is very wonderful, living here is great!
